Self-Change Paper
a. Based on an examination of your strengths and weaknesses in three topical areas covered in the text, for example, happiness, emotional intelligence, self-esteem, develop a plan for positive self-change that takes into account your mental and physical health and/or performance in a particular domain (e.g., athletics, music).
b. The paper must include the steps you would take from the stage you are in currently in each of the three areas to guide you to the next stage of learning.
c. In developing the background support and rationale for your plan for personal development, you must discuss and reference at least two readings (beyond the Carr text) for each of the three areas you choose to discuss in your paper. You may use any of the references at the end of the Carr text in writing your paper, but the references must be scholarly in nature. You must use and cite at least six references in addition to the Carr text in developing your paper. Please remember that you must have at least two references for each of the three topics that you address in your paper.
d. The paper must be typed, double-spaced, have one-inch margins around, and page numbers must be in the upper-right-hand corner. Please use a 12-point font.
