The next policy paper is to argue one of four positions on the federal social program you chose (I chose School Lunch Program): 1. Continue funding at existing level 2. Increase funding (explain where the funds should go) 3. Continue funding but at a reduced level (explain how/where the funds should be cut) 4. Cancel program 1st parragraph you have to state your position and a very brief summary of your reasons in the first section (which should only be a paragraph). Make sure you address the organization’s/division’s existential reason for living 2nd paragraph you should write a summary of the policy along with its strengths and weaknesses in the second section. Include here what the policy’s supporters and critics say. In the 3rd paragraph you should net the pluses and minuses to your mind and state your advice in the third section of what should be done. Remember to continue your focus on your position you took. Include here specific answers to the critics of your proposal who will argue that something different be done. This is a policy paper so it should always be written towards someone like if it is a letter. Also you have to take a position and choose one of the four positions.
