Identify two benefits that have accompanied the computerization of the academics, specifically related to your experiences with on-ground versus distance learning. One aspect of having online classes that I find to be a benefit is the flexibility. In my ADN nursing program that was one of the selling points of the school I chose because I worked night shift and having some flexibility with my class schedule was a bonus. Even now, in this program the biggest selling feature was that it is all online so I can learn at my own pace at a time that is convenient for my schedule. For example, it is almost midnight as I work on this discussion post. If this were an on campus class I am sure it wouldn’t be offered at midnight when I actually have the time and resources required to learn.
