Subject : Computer-Aided Engr Drawing. Purpose To have 3 groups in each lab section consisting of 4 to 5 students following a set of specifications and designing a model that will have a high strength-to-weight ratio. The group out of each section that has the highest ratio will have 5 bonus points added to their final project grade. This will be determined by 3D printing the models, then weighing the model before placing them in the compressing machine till they break. Project Specification Max dimensions: 3x3x3 [in] cube The top and bottom must have at least 0.1[in] thick surface (This will insure that all parts sit in the compression machine the same way) Filling: There must be a structure.
