As far as music I would give the examples of DMX Up in Here, Little Big Town Day Drinking, and Lady Gaga Poker Face to substantiate the verse, chorus, and the bridge all being interchangeable and encompass all the genres.As far as movies we can use any of the hero stories such as Hercules with the Rock or even the remake of the Ghostbusters movie with the change to female leads as opposed to male leads. After reading about Adorno and his theories, I agree with his philosophy as evidenced by the examples mentioned above. We can change the meaning, lead, or genre but ultimately we keep choosing the same formula over and over again.
